Kaitlyn Botelho holds a masters degree in history from California Polytechnic State University and a bachelors degree in feminist studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz. During her academic career she researched and wrote on topics such as (but not limited to): feminist studies, intersectionality, historiographies on gender, race, class, world history, and female spirituality. Kaitlyn has been writing book reviews and critical essays for over five years and is dedicated to creating a platform that is accessible, informative, and helpful to her readers. Currently following her inspirations, from nature and her study of spiritual traditions from the Goddess Movement to Dianic Wiccan practices, Kaitlyn is finding a new thrill for writing on a variety of others topics. In this endeavor, Kaitlyn has found her calling to connect, to publics of all ages, through the written word. She is now inspired to pursue her craft at writing historical fiction for children of all ages. Currently she is working on a short story series. When Kaitlyn is not writing she is hanging out with her wife Reb and her two dogs Yemaya and Jack in the beautiful landscape of Santa Cruz County.
